The Cable Reeler and all related components are designed and manufactured to strict safety standards and include a full risk assessment.
Machinery Contractors Cable Reelers can be fitted to a Wheel Loader or Wheel Dozer (Recommended for Wheel Dozers)
Once equipped with the MC Quick Coupler System (Optional), mounting of the Cable Reeler is simple – Drive up and go.
The only need for getting out of the cab is to connect the hydraulic lines required to power the drum.

MC CABLE REELER SPECIFICATIONS:
- Hydraulically driven system controlled from within the machine cab.
- Fitted with Hydraulic Pressure Control Cylinders with a built in safety release mechanism.
- Hydraulic motor drives fitted with solid rubber wheels and pressure sensor, adjustable from the machine cab.
- Wheel friction can be increased or decreased to accommodate dry or wet weather conditions via a monitor fitted in the machine cab.
- Safety-catches are fitted with adjustable pressure relieve valves in case of severe impact.
- The MC Cable Reeler does not require machinery to be fitted with a tilt cylinder. This improves operator visibility.
- The hydraulic system is re-routed allowing safe working functions of the joysticks.
- MC Cable Reelers display all safety stickers and reflectors as per mining requirements.
- MC Cable Reelers include a Mechanical Structural Engineer’s. Certificate required for a lifting device with a necessary Safety Factor.
DRUM SPECIFICATIONS
MC Cable Reeler assembly drums can meet client cable specifications. The client must supply the cable configuration allowing Machinery Contractors to manufacture the required interface components.
