Our products

We design and manufacture our own Bull Dog range of Buckets, Quick Coupler Systems, Heavy Duty Forks, Rake Booms, Slab Masters and more. Earthmoving Components are repaired and line bored to operate to its original specifications.

We manufacture Quick Coupling Tyre Handlers capable of handling any size of tyre. The Tyre Handler can be attached to a Front End Loader and remote control operated, enabling the operator outside the driver’s cab, to control precise fitment of the tyre and rim onto earthmoving trucks or machines.

We manufacture Cable Reelers handling cables ranging from 95 mm³ 120 mm³. The Cable Reeler is a fully hydraulically operated system integrated on a Wheel Loader or Wheel Dozer. The Hydraulic pressure on the Cable Reeler can be manipulated and adapted to operate in various open cast mining operations.

Our Workshops

MC has built an impressive range of fabrication facilities during the past two decades. The production floor area of over 5,000m² has been optimised for heavy engineering with stacking heights ranging between 7 and 12m. Furthermore, the operation is completely power independent.

Machine/ Mechanical and Hydraulic Workshop (1 075.3 m³)

Our Machine workshop is fully equipment and include equipment such as Lathe Machines, Drilling and Milling Machines, a Hydraulic Press Brake and a 6 T Demag Overhead Crane enabling us to be independent, meet critical deadlines and to reduce our customer’s downtime when it comes to urgently required fabricated components. Our Lineboring department ensure quick production output. The Machine workshop includes a Mechanical department, full field service team, a newly build wash bay and a Hydraulic department.

Light Duty Workshop (1 354 m³)

Our Light Duty Fabrication Workshop caters for manufacturing of smaller earthmoving attachments, ranging from 1 T – 12 T. This workshop is equipped with 2 overhead cranes, A spray bay and sandblasting bay, enabling Machinery Contractors to reduce down time by not having to break the production line.

Heavy Duty Workshop (1 589.90 m³)

The latest edition to Machinery Contractors is our Heavy Duty Fabrication Workshop, which opened its doors for production in 2014. This workshop includes a 25 T and 45 T Overhead Cranes as well as a 50 T Tower Crane, allowing us to accommodate and handle large jobs. This flexibility allows us to service a wide variety of customers from small to major enterprises. We can now manufacture and repair water tankers ranging from 18 000 L – 85 000 L as well as Dump Bodies. Vibro Stress can be carried out on units ranging from 45 T – 200 T.

Our workshops have been fitted with 2 x Back-up Generators (300 kva & 350 kva) to supply our workshops with electrical power during Load Shedding thereby minimizing downtime. A Helipad with its own refuelling station is available on site for visitors.
